DIRECTOR GENERAL OF MONACO’S FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTRY ON VISIT TO MONGOLIA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In frame of the 10th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Principality of Monaco, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Monaco Isabelle Rosabrunetto is paying a visit to Mongolia from July 6 to July 14.

Within the visit, Foreign Affairs Minister D.Tsogtbaatar received Ms. Isabelle Rosabrunetto and they exchanged views on cooperation prospective and future opportunities.

The parties expressed satisfaction at Mongolia-Monaco’s relations and cooperation in education, health, protection of cultural heritage, archaeology and humanitarian areas in 10 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations.

Since Mongolia has been selected as a partner country of Monaco’s development assistance in 2008, it has implemented many significant projects and programs with funding of the Government of Monaco targeted to conservation and protection of cultural heritage, promotion of nutritional balance,  increasing jobs in rural areas and accessibility of preschool education in remote districts of Ulaanbaatar city and in rural area as well as  backing social participation of people with disabilities.

Monaco’s Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation will work in Arkhangai aimag to get familiarized with results of the projects and programs while holding meetings with authorities of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection as well as representatives of the United Nations Children’s Fund in Mongolia.
